I’m not a businessman from scratch, and I don’t have the basics of how to start a business. But my parents were businessmen and businesswomen from young until now. Now I am a businessman in the electronics sector such as water pumps and home appliances.
At the start of my journey, I studied IT in the field but I didn’t finish it and changed my profession to music. I started my musical journey from singing and playing guitar. But I felt I couldn’t innovate and develop with my guitar playing and finally I tried playing drums and I immediately fell in love. From there I was determined to explore the world of drums and music until finally I took a music lecture and took a course at Yamaha Musik Indonesia. Until I got my diploma from YMI (Yamaha Musik Indonesia), I applied for a job as a teacher at YMI (Yamaha Musik Indonesia) and I was immediately accepted. I loved my job at that time because I could teach different types of children.
From there I learn the nature of each child I teach. From there I also began to see the development and journey of each student I worked with. I learned a lot from my students and I decided to try making a book entitled “The Dictionary of Drumming”. There I tried to explain in detail about beats such as the beats on drums. After I finished my first book, I couldn’t share it with anyone, or sell it.
In this blog I will share it with all readers, with the hope that it can help and guide anyone who wants to start trying to understand beats in music.
Apart from music, I can also make paracord bracelets and keychains. I named my brand ALIENNOTT which is on my Instagram link. I will try to make a tutorial too so I can share it.
Regarding my musical journey, I created a YouTube Channel called Reddio Music. There I recorded myself playing drums following music that was famous at that time. Until the end of 2020 I couldn’t continue recording anymore because I moved location to Singkawang. Before that, I was in Jakarta. Instead I will try to record a tutorial about my book.
